Lady Gaga Compilation (Just Dance – Telephone)
Captivated – Bad Romance | Just Dance – Telephone | Video Phone – Poker Face
7. Just Dance - Featuring Colby O’Donis with additional vocals by Akon (who made them both famous), “Just Dance” was Lady Gaga’s first single. It was also the first song Lady Gaga performed on tv. Amazingly, it only took her 10 minutes to write the song.

8. Dance in the Dark – This is the opening song for Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour. It was supposed to be released as a single after her song “Telephone”, but due to a disagreement between her and her record company, “Alejandro” was released instead.

9. Speechless - Lady Gaga wrote this song to convince her father to undergo open-heart surgery. The thought of being on tour and losing her father would many times leave her speechless when she’d speak with him. In the video below, Lady Gaga’s performing this song live at the 2009 American Music Awards on a fire-lit piano. She also performed “Speechless” with Elton John at the 2010 Grammy Awards.

10. Alejandro - Lady Gaga performed this song along with a slow version of “Bad Romance” on American Idol on May 5, 2010, the same night Aaron Kelly was eliminated. The original recording was 6.5 minutes long, but the guys in editing decided to shorten it by 1.5 minutes. This upset Gaga a lot, but I know if I was paid $250,000 to make a short video, I’d say do whatever the heck you want to do with it. You can watch the full performance of Alejandro at PerezHilton.com.

11. Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) – The music video to this song was taped in the same weekend as the “LoveGame” music video and included the 2 great danes that also appeared in the “Poker Face” music video. It reminds me a lot of Kylie Minogue’s work before she was diva-ized. “Eh, Eh” failed to do as well as her other singles, but it seems like Stefani Germanotta would’ve known that her pre-Gaga “good girl” image just can’t match the popularity of her current Lady Gaga style. Hopefully she learned her lesson for good.

12. Telephone – Featuring Beyonce Knowles, “Telephone” was originally written by Lady Gaga for Britney Spears. Britney was also considered for being the guest singer before Beyonce was chosen, however Britney did eventually release her own cover of “Telephone”. The short film music video was the sequel to “Paparazzi”, after Lady Gaga went to jail for killing her boyfriend, with similarities to Quentin Tarantino’s movies. Below is the clean(er) version, which was edited from the more explicit version for younger audiences. At 2:16, you can see Lady Gaga with her 17 year-old sister, Natali Germanotta.
